Three levels of conventional basement would have been necessary to provide sufficientparking for this waterfront development, but site conditions and a high water table made the required depth of excavation cost prohibitive.
To address this, our Parklift 440 vertical stacking systems were specified, providing 130 car parking spaces through two levels of parking on one basement level. All spaces have independent access, with the solution not only delivering the required number of spaces, but also significantly reducing both the costs of construction and landfill.
